Topic Wise marks distribution of General Awareness for SSC CGL Exam 

50 questions are asked from  General Awareness section. If you master your G.K then you will hardly take 15 minutes to answer all the 50 questions correctly. SSC CPO 2017 General Awareness Preparation-Topic Wise Strategy

Current Affairs

There are 3-4  questions are asked in SSC CPO exam from current affair section. To prepare this well you need to be consistent.Focus on last 6 months’ current affairs from the date of your exam.

Economy & Finance

Previous year papers can help you prepare this section well because only basic questions are asked from this section.

Geography/History/ Indian Polity & Constitution

19-20 questions are asked from these topics so you need to study these subjects effectively. Follow the gradeup notes and daily quizzes shared on gradeup. You  should also practice from a good book. Lucent book is very good.

Science & Technology

17-20 questions are asked from Science & technology including Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer. We are providing you examples from these topics so that you will have an idea of what to read and how to score well.

Static GK

9-10 questions are asked from static G.K. You should read newspaper daily and should be in touch with the important international and national events.Questions are generally asked on the events which are very famous and mostly everyone is aware of them.
