Sucess Story of Mohammad Azad(Inspector Of Central Excise)

Hello Friends,

We are sharing Success Story of Mohd Azad Inspector Of Central Excise

I would like to share my journey from preparation to selection. I started my preparation from November 2014. I was solving one Test Paper of Tier 1 daily without fail and within the time limit. Then I used to analyze my answer sheet. This process helps me a lot. My Tier 1 Exam was on 16th Aug 2015, I was very nervous as it was my first attempt, after the exam I was expecting the marks around 120-125. Finally, Tier 1 result published on 29th Sep’2015 at night, when I checked the marks, I was surprised. It was 136.75 I was feeling awesome.

Now I was very confident about Tier 2, when the notification came that Tier 2 exam will be held on 25th Oct’2015, I was completely shocked, I was worried, how I would prepare myself for Tier 2 in just 25 days. There was no option. I started my preparation; I used to solve Math test paper in the morning immediately after wake up, and English test paper in the evening. And rest of the day I was memorizing Synonyms, antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, One Word etc.

25th October’2015, the day has come, there was two sift for Tier 2, first shift was for Math and second shift was for English. I attempted 93 questions out of 100 in Math and 190 questions out of 200 in English. I was not satisfied with my performance. I was waiting eagerly for Tier 2 results. The wait came to an end when the results were published on 12th Feb’2016. I scored 171 Marks in Math and 132.75 in English. I was on could nine when I saw the list of qualified candidate for the interview post. Ohh Yesss My name was there. I painted the town red on that day. I can’t express my happiness in words.

3rd March’2016, I was called for interview and document verifications. After the verifications I was told to wait outside of the interview hall. Now it was my number for the interview, they asked me various questions on Current Affairs, full form of some the Government Plans, one simple math, etc. overall my interview was average. Same day they handed over me an admit card for Typing test and CPT. Typing and CPT was held on 12th March’2016. Typing test and CPT was normal for me as I worked around 4 years in private company.

29th June’2016 after a long wait, finally the day has come; the final merit list was published. I opened the list of selected candidate. My heart was pumping like a get engine. OMG!!!… I was selected as an Inspector of Central Excise. The dream comes true. I was feeling blessed like no others.
