English – 1. Notes of paramount publication 2. Plinth to paramount by neetu Singh 3. RS Agarwal 4. Daily reading of any English newspaper /magazine/content, it will help to attempt cloze test, Comprehension 5. Vocabulary drills by Arihant publication, for antonym synonym 6. Small topic wise books for antonym, synonym, one word substitution etc by arihant publication 7. Books on common error by kiran publication

General Knowledge – It is toughest to suggest anything for gk, as I have totally skipped GK portion during my preparation but some suggestions are here as per the some students who got very good marks in GK
1. Last year questions (घटनाचक्र) 2. Last 6 – 12 months current gk from any magazine 3. Ncert from 6th to 10th standard (read only if you have some time otherwise skip it right away) 4. Daily newspaper reading 5.Lucent GK

Quantitive Aptitude (Maths)
I have read around 50 books for Quantitive aptitude till date but i found following books useful for SSC CGL
1. Quantum CAT by sarvesh Verma (Only level 1 questions) 2. RS Agarwal for arithmetic portion (only last 25% questions of each chapter) 3. RD Sharma for 9th & 10th Std.(Trigonometry and geometry chapters only) 4.Maths and advanced maths by kiran publication 5.Advanced Maths by Platform publication (Available in Hindi medium only) 5. Practice sets and mock test papers of coaching centres for practice. 6. Maths book of Paramount publication
